Deep-etched superconductor: the copper is eaten well back so the niobium filaments stand clear as a raised honeycomb.
Run a thumb across it and you can feel the filament array. That is the tell that it is real stock and not a printed pattern.
Forged, not cast
Hammered by hand, after you order
Most jewellery is cast: molten metal poured into a mould. This piece is forged instead, heated, hammered and finished by hand, one at a time, and only once you have ordered it with the options you chose.
Estimated delivery is 10–14 business days from ordering. Yours will differ from the photograph in the detail of its pattern. No two come out the same.

Choosing yours
Width runs 5 mm to 9 mm. At 5 mm it sits as a fine line and disappears against the finger; at 9 mm it reads as a statement band and carries far more of the pattern. Most people land in the middle.
Sizing
Sizes run US 4 to 16 in half steps. If yours is a quarter size, or sits outside that range, put it in the box on this page and we will forge to it.
Care
Wipe with a dry cloth. Polish the copper to brighten it, or leave it alone and let it go dark — both are correct.
Made one at a time, by hand, after the order comes in. The pattern is never repeatable, so yours will be its own. Free shipping to the US and UK. $30 everywhere else.

Returns & warranty
Made to your size and specification, so all sales are final, and every piece is fully covered:
- 1-year warranty — if anything goes wrong with the piece within a year, we repair or replace it free, shipping included.
- Damaged in transit or not what you ordered — replaced or refunded in full at our cost. Tell us within 14 days.
- We sent the wrong size — free remake, we pay the postage.
- Ordered size does not fit — remade at half price, plus postage.

When will my order arrive?
Estimated delivery is 10–14 business days from ordering, including making and transit. Engraving can add one to two additional business days. If you need it for a wedding or another fixed date, contact us before ordering. Full detail on the shipping page.
What if it does not fit?
We forge you a new one in the right size. If we sent the wrong size, the new ring is free, shipping included. If the size you ordered does not fit, the new ring is half the original price plus shipping, and you keep the original. Check the ring size guide first; use a ring sizer that matches your chosen band width. Do not add a quarter or half size automatically; contact us before ordering if you are unsure.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, one year on every piece. If anything goes wrong with it in the year after delivery, whatever the cause, we repair it or forge a replacement free, and pay the shipping both ways.
What is your returns policy?
It is forged to order to the options you choose, so all sales are final. You are fully covered all the same. Anything damaged in transit or not what you ordered is replaced or refunded in full if you tell us within 14 days of delivery, and the one-year warranty covers the rest. See the refund policy.
What actually is superconductor?
Reclaimed niobium-titanium filament in a copper matrix, from particle-accelerator and MRI magnet cable, etched to show the honeycomb inside. The copper patinas and deepens the contrast. Supply is finite: when a billet runs out, that piece is gone.
Is it safe for sensitive skin?
Titanium, zirconium and Timascus are excellent for sensitive skin. Mokume gane contains nickel and copper, and copper can leave a harmless temporary green mark. With a known nickel allergy, choose titanium or zirconium, or ask us.
