A hand-forged Damascus steel cuff, made to order in the workshop.

Damascus steel is forged from layers of steel folded and welded together, then acid-etched so the grain rises to the surface. The pattern runs through the metal rather than sitting on it, and no two pieces come out the same.

Solid copper, which lives and moves — it darkens over time and brightens where it rubs. Left to itself it settles into a deep warm brown.

Care

Keep it dry and wipe it down after heavy wear. The etched pattern deepens with age; a light oiling now and then keeps it crisp.
